Dark Room Poem by Scarred Unknown

Dark Room

I’m sitting in a dark room
Alone, in a dark room
There’s no one near
The walls are bare
And no one is here

The walls are painted black
The room is small
There is a window near the back
I’m alone near the wall

I pull myself in
And close my eyes tight
I think of a time with him
Try to find myself
Till everything is allright

There are no lights above
Nor a switch
For one
With the walls also black
It seems there is nothing
Left to lack

I don’t remember
How I got here
Or where I even am
All I know
Is I’m left alone
And seem to be on my own

As I huddle in my corner
I look to the side
And I see a small light
Begin to turn bright
My eyes grow wide
And my heart beats fast
I wonder if this will be my last
