Darkness Poem by Chelsey Rowland

Darkness

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere I can be alone,
Where I can cry.
A place where I can't be found,
Where it feels like I fade away.

Frightening it screams,
Creepy.

Somewhere I can close my eyes,
Be what I don't let the world see.
A hiding place for the real me.

A place for me to curl into a ball,
To hide in the dark.
Somewhere I can hide underneath the covers,
To feel alone, isolated from the world.

Darkness I feel is my place,
A place made just for me.
