Darkness Poem by Patricia Chapman

As i lay here with nothing but darkness enclosing on me
there is a little light with you hand
that i see
but its so far away, i want to reach
but my hand cant quiet reach yours
so ill lay back and let the tears
follow out of my heart
i can feel the last breath that comes out
the darker it gets
i feel no energy to try to move now
so the binding darkness can take me
im sorry my love its to late
maybe in another a life you and i will be together
till then keep me in your heart
