Darkness night
Long and long time
And you are here, in
My country, Iraq
When you'll go and leave?
We are meditating and waiting
For Your departure eagerly for patience
Waiting for The dawning new morning
Morning of hope and goodness,
And good in my country
The Great Iraq
Yes... we are waiting for you
Moment by moment
And on pins and needles
My new morning...
After that brightened
...sun of freedom
...Sun of hope
New bright of tomorrow
And promising future...
Hope... and hope and prosperity
The love of peace and security...
For which we are still
And eagerly waiting
With a longing... and anxious
And for a long time
... And long
To live it day to day
Not moment by moment...
So leave O long night
Which is presence with us?
Leave, we are not sorry
For your departure
Cause you carry to us
Pains... and tragedies
And sorrows...
Leave, don't return
And came back, and
Carry with you all your times
And we'll not be sorry for that
For we don't want
To see like your times again
