is darkness all there is for me
or is there hope at last
will i finally be able to go to the light
or will i fall deeper into the dark

i found something
that'll bring me to the light
but will i want to
will i leave the safety of the dark
or will i go into the light
where things are dangerous but free

i asked my friends
but they don't know
so the choice you see
is harder than you think
for now i will stay in the dark
but what about you?
