Dashing Adventurer, In One Who Seeks Poem by james watkin

Dashing Adventurer, In One Who Seeks

Dashing adventurer, in one who seeks
After Love have you shared perils, pitfalls.
Edens comely drapped, with the snake riddled;
More quicksands and disease, less waterfalls.

Both driven on in a delirium!
Fiery of gaze, and undeviating.
Windy admonishings, thistles of scorn;
End visions' washed o'er cheer undeflating.
