I am simply Tawanda
To many a wonder
But to they that take credit for my existence, a blessing.
Speaking of which
He was never rich
I doubt he ever will be
This man who is the protector of my heritage
He could have done better
That much is no brainer
But he did what he could
You see it all turned out how it should
Many had theirs leave the minute the seed was sown
He stuck around, until I was atleast old enough to have a mind of my own
An identity of my own
And then he wasn’t there anymore
But I didn’t love him any less
For as long as he could he did his best
And when he couldn’t do it anymore
God took over and did the rest
You see my father is no candidate for “best father in the world” award
But he is my father
And for as long as the sun and the moon interchange to bring day and night
His blood will run in my veins, He will stay my father.
Forgiveness brings healing, and healing brings “LOVE”…Forgive and bring healing to your relationships!

I would like to translate this poem
i never got to know my dad, he passed on when i was but a child...this brings memories of nights of tear falls on my pillow while i longed for what could have been...beautiful stuff
