When dawn bursts forth to share the light,
splashing hues upon the skies;
Night turns her head and takes quick flight,
She needs the shades upon her eyes.
And as the sun begins its climb,
pouring gold upon the seas;
Waves, like flames, dancing to time,
Sunbeams fly upon the breeze.
The waking earth is glistening,
bathed in the morning dew;
Bright blues skies are listening,
for earthly songs that sound on cue.
How nice to wake, radiant in heart,
To give the world a new fresh start.
