Daydream Poem by Azalea Bluewell

Daydream

Rating: 5.0

Staring out the window
A lonely meadow
Under the willow
A grassy pillow

Lost in a place far, far away
Just like what the fairytales say
Dragons, princes, castles, fairies
Fields of roses, tulips, violets, and daisies

Then just when things were getting good
Your teacher calls on you
Sucks you out of your dream
And asks you what is two plus three
