Rough grass poking on my legs...
Prickly on my arms, too.
The sun slowly starts baking.
Swoosh!
Trees sway.
Breathing quietly, I feel alive.
A blinding blanket,
glowing ever brightly,
forces me to squint.
'It'd be so nice to sleep here.'
Heaven vanishes as I awake.
This gave me a relaxed feeling. WONDERFUL POEM!
I felt so serene while reading this poem, you're a great poet. The last line was perfectly said, and how you called it as 'heaven'-vanishes as I awake-bringing us to reality again.

I like the way this poem has a relaxing theme. Something like mine called 'Sunlight's World'. Adeline
