Days Past Love Poem by Missy Lynn

Days Past Love

Rating: 3.5

The tranquility of the past
Now is just a pale reminiscence
A recollection of what lied
The warmth of the past shall never return
One Beating heart of joy, which cascaded
Shall cease forever condemned to memory
Never to return
But this love which has
No boundaries shall never be
Obliterated from the souls of those who feel it
For they have perfect Peace.
To which no man can flounder
For war ravages the mind of remembrance
And destroys the era of feeling
That brought it. So the love
May never be destroyed
But the memory of love is
Never to return
