Days (Without You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Days without you are ever so lifeless
and dull without color and very bland.
Your beauty and sweet spirit are what
bring them to life making them so happy and wonderful,
you make everything pop out in bright contrast
giving everything brilliant texture and joy.
These days without you are the hardest ones
where I just want to stay in bed and sleep,
passing the time away till I can see you again
celebrating our bond and the deep love that we have.
Days without you are quite sad and so boring,
your beauty livens things up and gives my life
color and reason,
for you are my Queen and I
feel deep passion for you my Angel so wonderful.
I can't wait for these lonely days to end,
then the happiest days with you will begin.
No end of pure joy and love in sight,
all days and time with fulfillment seeing your smile.
All time with my lady so beautiful and my
best friend always and forever.
What more could I ask than to spend eternity with you?
I love you so deeply with all of my heart
and my soul for you are the greatest
most beautiful woman of all time.
