Dead End Poem by Paige DeRogatis

Dead End

Fasten your seatbelt, but don't shut your eyes

Prepare your young self for a fatal surprise

Feel the heat of the fire as it burns through your veins

You can never turn back, there is no switching lanes

Enter a dungeon of brutilized hell

where bloodshot optics lock you under their spell

A place without sanity and civilization

where people seek to kill in this barbaric nation

they feed off of greed and innocent souls

they'll place human skulls on decorative poles

they'll laugh at your agony and damage your brain

their hideous screams will make you go insane

You're running out of gas and have no money to spend

You can't runaway, for you've reached a dead end...
