Dead Inside Poem by Natalie Bradford

Dead Inside

I used to think of how it was
The past consumes my mind
I can't remove you
The memories, they dig into my head
It's impossible to forget you
What did you do to me?
I don't know why I can't move on
When I see you, I fall apart
The memories come back
Why can't I forget you?
You smile, I die
You laugh, I cry
I fall back into my depression
Why can't you leave me alone?
Go away, leave me alone
Your not real, I can't make you real
He's not real, I can't make him real
I can't love remember?
You left me dead inside
