Dead Rose Petal, Jan.07,2004 - Poem by mandy wandy

dead rose petal here you lay
blood red, darker than before
your sweet and vibrant scent turns heads
now your so fragile, i'm more scared to break you
your new wavy surface crunches beneath my gentile finger
cracking every rosey wrinkle
grabbing for some tape and glue
i already knew, you'd never be the same
it's gone and over
now i am stuck with only a simple 'good bye'
my dead rose petal...i despirately loved you
