Dear Heart-Song, Poem by Amanda May Moore

Dear Heart-Song,

Dear Heart-Song,

I hear you whispering in the silence.
Listening, I know I've ignored your truth.
In the dark I see you are not so lost,
this is when you beat loudest in my heart.
So I take this life you've given, this seed
And I give it all that it needs to grow.

From this source I sow letting the love grow,
giving all to meditate in silence
I'll feed on the song, the need of the seed.
Shining is everlasting proof- the truth-
that God has given; planted in our heart.
We know it when young, but for some it's lost.

Our mission is to search for this that's lost.
The truth of us almost fades as we grow...
Darkness smothers out all light in the heart,
struggling to breathe, living in silence.
I'm still, to fall beneath. Searching for truth
in the chill, with all to fulfill my seed.

Giving all I need to succeed in seed,
hoping, praying, no delaying time lost.
Thought without exhaust will shine forth the truth;
In which, we say 'hello' because we grow.
It is in the stillness of the light. Silence.
That we start playing a part in our heart.

A larger role in the Kingdom. His heart.
Need for Him in the world; greater the seed.
Hands full of spirit can bring back the silence
of the life within that may have been lost.
These hands of a child in Him can help grow
the suppressed witness of the only truth.

Heart-Song, I will share your beautiful truth!
Light that shall not be concealed in my heart
no longer. We begin to know and grow.
To think that it all came from such a seed-
the Devil would have stopped. Leaving it lost.
A life in void of light, without silence...

Thanking the Truth for living in this seed,
Shining forth in my heart, nought to be lost
I will seek to grow out of the silence.

Love,
