Dear Jack Poem by Kim Davies

Dear Jack

You coming into my life, must have been fate,
A kindred spirit, my soul-mate.
Always there when I'm full of woe,
Cheering me on when I feel so low.
How I love you so.

You brought the sun that shines on me,
Showed me how life should be.
I thought we'd always be together,
caring, sharing, and loving forever.
How love you so.

When did you begin to fail?
I didn't notice you get so frail.
I'm not ready for you to leave,
Yet I've already begun to grieve.
How I love you so.

It hurts me to see your pain,
My prayers it seems are all in vain.
Its for the best, that I know,
The time has come to let you go.
Oh, how I love you so.

The times we had, I'll never forget,
I'll always look back without regret.
My faithful friend, devoted and true,
I wish with all my heart, that I still had you.
How I miss you so.

What a beautiful poem Kim. It has brought tears to my eyes. Really heartfelt. I think a lot of people will empathise with this losing a friend or someone they loved.
