“I have been on ‘poemhunter.com’
for the past hour or so reading
your poems that are posted there.
In my opinion, you’re a genius –
absolutely brilliant! !

The homage to Ginsberg’s ‘HOWL’
is so powerful. Your ‘I Am A Man’
and ‘I Am A Human Being’ are strong,
positive declarations! I hear resounding,
standing ovation applause for them
from generations of gays.

I love poetry, particularly free verse style
that has a rhythm, but not a fixed meter.
This, from a ‘gay poet’ is wonderful.
In other words, I love your poetry good sir! !

I think it’d be most appropriate that you be
named the Library of Congress Poet Laureate
at this time in our struggle for equality.
Most don’t seem to understand (yet) that ‘equality’
refers to all of God’s children, and it’s time for our
Government to finally come around to acknowledging
the inequality foisted on a significant segment of
the population of this country, simply because
it is other than heterosexual”.
