Here i stand before you
Trying to make you see
Though i cannot make you love me
In my heart youll always be

Im sorry i wasnt good enough
For you to want to stay
That is why you left me
On that heartbreaking day

The pain youve caused me
Is much to great
You showed me no emotion
And for that ive learned to hate

So why is it, my love for you
Is unlike any other
And though youve caused me so much grief
Youll always be my mother
