Death Poem by Gerard Woods

Death

Remind me of death
so I can morn a little more
Give me back that feeling of loss
Just like I felt before,
Remind me how it feels to
Miss someone you love
Give me a reason to pray
To the heavenly god.

Remind me of your loss everyday
Give me that feeling that I had
When you past away.
let me know how it feels
To have what they call a black day
For I don't think I morned you
For as long as I should,
I want to morn you as only
A loving brother could.

Give me back the tears
And the true feelings of grief,
let me hold your still warm body
And feel my hearts pounding beat.
Give me back that genuine
Feeling of pain,
Please let me for awhile go insane.

Give me that feeling of remorse
because I never felt enough,
let me do penance
And make my life tough
For I found out when you had gone
That I loved you much.
