Death Poem by Micheal Olaniyi

Death

why do you laugh at our tears! ?
Does our cries sound gloriously to your ears! ?
Or do we look cute in sorrow! ?

Its been long that remedy has not been provided for this enigma,
giants fall and we are forced to watch with no solution,
this we've tried to avoid, but keeps on showing up,
but will it continues this way?
When i see beloved dies, and my heroes bowing out,
the water in my eyes can't seize running continously,
this neccesitates my interventions as a matter of urgency.

If death is proud to kill,
then i found an allixir,
just walk around,
sleep, wake, play, rejoice,
and don't stop doing good, because the only antidiote to death is life.
