Death At Twilight Poem by C. Mark Miller

Death At Twilight

As the reddened sky reflects the setting sun
I realize another day is done.
As the stars begin to shine there little light
I know another long night has begun.
What happened to the sunshine?
Has the sunrise been denied?
What if he stars and moon should stay?
What if the sun has died?
