Death Desperations Poem by Miguel Maria

Death Desperations

Rating: 4.5

THERE SHE STOOD THERE SHE PLAYED
THERE HER PILLOW ON THE BED SHE LAID
O’WHERE HAVE THOU GONE
6FT UNDER FORGOTTEN LONG
BUT I STILL MORN AT ATLEAST FOR TODAY
SHE WAS A SUN WITHOUT HER NO RAYS
I WISH TO SEE YOU ONCE MORE
FOR THE CHILD IN YOU, I’VE ADORED
BUT YOU IN FORTRESS OF METAL AND DIRT
GOING IN IS WORK THAT I MUST SHIRK

THIS IS IN MEMORY OF A GIRL NAMED Soila Colons
A DEAR FRIEND AND A GREAT WORKER
