A fallen soldier prays
For peace, unity, love, and his life
Wounded on the battle field he lays
Longing for his home, family, children, and wife
Never again will there be a more honorable death
Than this of bravery; for us to live freely
So the valiant soldier whispers with his last breath
'Would you too, for the flag, cease to live? '
And now, let that eminent flag fly high
Full of gratitude and pride for the one who died for peace.
