Death Is The Ultimate Disappointment - Poem by Shalom Freedman

The final good- bye
The leaving alone
Those one does not wish to leave alone-
Death is the ultimate failure
The letting down of one's loved ones
One cannot help-
Death is the Sadness at the end of it all
And the hurt one gives
To those one least wants to hurt-
Death is the ultimate no- good
Sad as it is
It is possible to hate it.

Why do we live and, why do we die? There really seems to be no reason, why?
So true, the futil emptiness of death. Beautiful poem in it's sadness
