Death's Grasps Poem by Rita Shay

Death's Grasps

Rating: 3.3

Every time I think I let you go
I see someone who looks like you
Or someone's laugh sounds just like yours
And then there you are
Back.

I have bandaged my soars
And begun to heal.
For months I have let
You slip away from me.
All of my progress is
Thrown away
And I know I'm
No closer to letting you go.

I loved the time spent.
I love you dearly and endlessly.
But now I'm ready to move on.
You are the one who died, not I.
I want to let you go,
But your memory will not free me.

Your time is over
And you need to let me go.

Please I love you so,
That is why you must go.

yes, this is good, and very true, unfortunatly when missing someone we imagine them through our eyes, afraid they will take over our mind
