I lay
On the bed
Looking at your face.
You've sat there
For enless hours
In exactly the same
Place.
How bored
You must be
Looking down
On me.
You say you're not.
The candle flickers
And I see it in your eye
You know
That I am going to die.
I realized
Already,
That the end was near.
But in your eyes,
I see fear.
'My love, my dear, '
I whispered to
Him.
'I love you.'
And he said,
'I love you too.'
I said
'For my last
Dying wish
I want you to keep
On lovin
Keep on moving
Keep on gettin' them fish
Doin' what you love/
For me.'
And he replied
'Whatever you want, baby.'
