Death Wont Melt My Masterpiece (Age 17) Poem by Jessica C. Galvan

Death Wont Melt My Masterpiece (Age 17)

'Im not afraid
not of you
not of them
rather
you should fear me
for my mind
of individuality
you can not stop me
not even after death
we are all one
left with
shackles on our ankles
but I’ll set free
and my life will shine
like a masterpiece
all my colors will show
not because of you
but because of my
self molded soul
my pregnant mind
fat full with beauty
you can not stop me
I will never give up
fear me...
I will never fear you
for a systemed life
is never true
not for me
I’d rather die
with my ideas of beauty! ”
