Deaths Desire Poem by Matthew Slatter

Deaths Desire

Rating: 5.0

To have the desire to die is like falling into a bottomless pit:
To feel there is nothing to grasp a hold onto for any means of comfort/safety,
To want/feel like you're living in loneliness, solitude and eternal darkness,
To not know the existence of the word 'FUN' and/or feel anything other than hatred and worthlessness within yourself,
To hide away from life, and hide the body of torture, mutilation and scars of trying to release these emotions,
To hide the expression of pain, sacredness, sadness and the face that bares it,
To feel helpless, hopeless, abandoned and uncared for or unloved,
To feel the only thing u care/cared for had no intentions of making the feeling mutual therefore leading you on, screwing with your head and heart making you never to be able to love like that again,
To feel hurt in ways you are unable to live with and still get messed about,
To be silent, not have a voice/opinion to express nor feel the need to communicate, yet when verbal contact arises you notice you only speak in a dark depressing context,
To want/feel like falling into a deep sleep to forget and be forgotten about and knowing its only 1 vertical slash away,
To feel all of the above every second that you breathe, and willing to take your lifeless soul at any chance.
