Deceived Me Poem by Ezra Juellinge

Deceived Me

Rating: 5.0

I never knew our story would be bound to turn,
A heart breaking one, that'll actually burn,
Never knew you could be so rough,
Even a single "Hii! ! " now seems tough.

I never knew, you could deceive me,
Because I had trusted you blindly,
Now I know it was all treacly music,
Never knew that my heart, you could bruise 'it'.

I had loved you for a 100 years,
And had promised to love you for a 100 more,
It seems tough to wipe off these tears,
Because it pains, the heart you tore.

All you did was lie to me,
I thank you cause now I am free,
To breath and live a life without problematic affairs,
I was hurt, neither you nor they care.

Deep passionate poem conveying hurtful feelings, written with clarity of thought and mind. Sad tale of love told in eloquent finesse. Very heartfelt with strong emotions. Thanks for sharing Ezra.
