Deception Poem by Paolo Giovanni Lonewolf Marra

Deception

Why do we allow ourselves to believe
Those horrid tales of deception that make us seethe
Fallible tales of terror that bring us to fear
Enslaving us forever as we act without revere
A false sense of freedom they allow you to perceive

We seek the truth but it is nowhere to be found
Trapped we choose to stay in this evil web of deception
As it entombs us finally into the ground.
