Decisions Poem by WR. Dutton

Decisions

Decisions sometimes are so hard to make
so many roads, which one should you take

Take this one or that one a friend might say
but they are just choosing what would be their way

Even though their intentions may be noble and true
the way they choose may not be just right for you

You must let your heart guide you thru the darkness of night
and then make the decision that you know is right

There is but one bit of advice this scribe can convey
your life is your own so you must walk your own way

For the paths that you take give shape to your life
whether it be full of happiness or plagued with strife
