Decisions - Ponder Yourself Poem by Paul Warren

Decisions - Ponder Yourself

When you're alone and left to ponder yourself
What demons surround you that are placed on the shelf
Do you go through each point and phase of it all
And wonder again at why you made the final call

Sometimes decisions need to be made on the fly
When all the final facts might not be piled high
It doesn't matter if it is a minor point to be made
You can be taken to account and be taken to the blade

So what is keeping to the truth of it for them
Could be a matter of perspective in the end
If you want to be free from the cut and thrust of it
Do you stand aside and be away from their fit?
