Declaration Of Arbroath Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Declaration Of Arbroath

English red coats hate our saint Andrews flag
The attack our business oversees
Independence symbols met with a gag
For I have seen it in many countries

Scottish bars, restaurants are all shut down
Use stealth to boycott and bankrupt the scot
For two faces has this Westminster crown
We are seconds and must except our lot

They tell us that they only come in peace
Do pat us on the head like mongrel dogs
We do not own our lands we only lease
While they do wallow like fat swine and hogs

They steal our wealth and constitution
For this we demand restitution
