Deep In The Valley Poem by Chris Beeson

Deep In The Valley

Rating: 5.0

Deep in the valley,
near the oak and the sage,
ventures a creature of the night,
who risks the dangers of the day.

It has been a long time since he has seen the burning light of the anti-night,
but things had come to such a close,
that nothing else was ever going to be right.

His love has been lost and tossed,
in to the thinning dry dust.

But in the dark and the shade of this bright summers day,
he started on a path,
to help him change his way, his soul and to take him out of this day.
