Deep Inside
I've been by myself
for as long as I can remember
alone
in the dark
Then I met someone
someone that made me look deeper
look deeper into the darkness
sent me on a hunt
And I saw it
the tiny light
that somehow
has survived
Years in the dark
it kept burning
burning with hope
keeping me going
That hope was weak
barly there
and then she came into my life
and lit up my world
