knowing you punishes and gives life
a question comes when i say you are my wife
such a hold that you have on my soul
no matter what I know it's you that makes me whole

I fight and plead deep within my heart
pleading your case though you ripped me apart
love keeps me here waiting for your return
separated, I can feel the burn

do you know what i feel for you
can you see that I stay true
open up your eyes, how can you be afraid
laying down my life every moment of the day
