Deeper Than The Sea Poem by Desert Life

Deeper Than The Sea

I knew, from the very first day we met,
That this relationship will end in pain,
But still, I would repeat it again and again,
For those days we were together,
Are moments in paradise.

O this cruel fate,
Today we must part,
Embrace me tightly,
Give me your sweetest smile,
and promise me that you stay happy.

O dearest, my tears will not fall in front of you,
I will keep them for my silent moments, alone…
Can't you see?
I had released my loveliest bird to fly freely,
Since my love is deeper than the sea.

Releasing the bird very symbolic and the poem very nicely written.
