Deity Poem by Dan Lundahl

Deity

I'm the fish soaring around the lake in stream,
I'm the perfect lover, found in your best dream,
I'm the voice in your head telling you no,
I'm the flowers on the lawn, that you blindly sow.

I'm a perfect choice, chosen only by a bright mind,
I'm a perfect choice, the best you'll ever find,
I'm a perfect choice, I can do anything I desire,
I'm a perfect choice, I'm a beast and a fit hire.

I have been there, I have done that,
I have stood in NY City with a danish hat,
I have wandered around madison square,
I have fulfilled even the weirdest dare.

I will take your world as my own,
I will have you follow rules, as shown,
I will make my perfect dimension here,
I will sacre it, and hold it dear.

I can never be wrong, and I can never lose,
I can enhance many valuable life virtues,
I can enforce great laws and rules,
I can do anything, with no need of tools.

I am the best, and I am supreme,
I am the one to let the sun beam,
I am the one to create and allow chemistry,
I am the only one of my kind, I am the deity.
