Deliver Us From Evil Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Deliver Us From Evil

Deliver Us From Evil

In the shadows deep, where darkness weaves its might,
We cry for grace, a beacon in the night.
Deliver us from evil's cruel embrace,
Unleash your love, and fill this sacred space.

With humble hearts, we seek your guiding hand,
To break the chains that bind us to the sand.
Oh, hear our plea, and let your mercy flow,
Wash away the sins that in our souls do grow.

Protect us from the snares of the wicked one,
Whose whispers tempt, and lead us far from home.
In your strong arms, we find our sure defense,
A fortress safe, where evil finds its end.

So let your light dispel the darkest night,
And fill our hearts with everlasting light.
Deliver us from evil's grasp and sway,
And in your love, we'll find eternal day.
