Demise Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Demise

Rating: 5.0

It was the day the sun died
The earth buried the corpse
In its oceans to be cleaned,
I go on collecting marigolds
In a string to be placed on
The calm surface of placid water
And pray for the dawn to break.
