Denial - Poem by Evette Morales

Twisted ways
Bring thy to fate
Promised to take
Returned it gave

A two way street
Meant for you
Meant for me

Continue your way
I'll go onto mine
Forgiveness hidden
Onto thine

Light to my darkness
Hope to the hopeless
Faith to the faithless
Leave you breathless

Always hidden
To what is there
Just in front of you
Open your eyes
To what lies
Just ahead

A two way street
Without a name
It truly is...
