Acceptance - Poem by Evette Morales

Open to you
Just to take
From your sight
What it raped

Always trusting
Never looked
What was behind
Waiting betrayal

Open to all
Love for you
Go ahead take

A heart worth breaking
A death not faking
Believe the lies
So why not the truth?

Steal my pain
Hide my sorrow
Give me a mask
For what i can't hide

So what's behind
That's not planned
What was seeded
Always there
Never bare

Open eyes
Face a trial
What is Denial?

I write them when I feel must vulnerable... or when I'm hiding what I'm really thinking. (Report) Reply
