Denied Love Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Denied Love

Life is a mystery
Noone can understand
Happiness is a warm smile
Loved ones close at hand

When you reach the place in life
You feel you've nothing left to give
You've given all you could
Now there's a better life to live

Sometimes I wonder,
Where would I be?
If I didn't have you,
Who would love me?

In my heart & on my mind
Where you'll always be
Tell me, when you close your eyes,
What is it that you see?

When you love someone so much
It hurts deep down inside
Empty, your life is, without them
Can this love ever be denied?
