Depression Poem by Julian Estrada

Depression

Day by day it does its work,
Evil at its very best,
Pierced my heart down to its core,
Reaping any hope that's left,
Endless walls of grief and sorrow,
Sit here waiting for tomorrow,
Shaking with anticipation,
Itching for a small vacation,
Once depression finds its way,
Never see the light of day.
