Life's Lament Poem by Julian Estrada

Life's Lament

Through endless fields of lamentation,
Each step taken I deplore,
The endless roar is nothing more,
Than absolute damnation,
No longer am I eager for
The journeys yet to come,
For every day is over just
As fast as It begun,
And on this earth
My life is just
Another living soul,
A soul that's soon to be forgotten,
Never even known.
