Desert Poem by RAVIKIRAN ARAKKAL

Desert

Sand dunes lay

All along for miles and miles

With no animals

But with some crawling

Creatures,

With occassional mirages

Of lakes here and there

Still people lived

In the hot desert

Simmering in the heat,

Traded some goods of desert,

Commuting on camels.
