Design Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Design

Design, what is the design?
Destiny's integrity on the line
Commanding adaptations
Upon life's correlation
Courting a serene awakening
Upon this heart's salvation
Bleeding, Beating
Sublime sensation
Veins of hope
Flowing warmth
Tingling feelings
Pleading for residence
Never leave
Come here please
Clear my mind, Clear my mind

Trials of life
Stop holding me in contempt
I render myself guilty
For being a mere dreamer
Wishing for things
Quint but sacred
More or less blithe

The little things
The beginning
The start, the blueprint
The creation of the design
Come here, please come here
Please, help clear this mind

Introverted, with so much temptation

Cleaned slate affirmation
Come forth, Give me sign
Sick of being stuck in long lines
Sick of seeing so much blindness
Cold state of confusion
Warmth on the other side
Wishes to confide self
To understanding eyes
Trusting fate
Safely snugged
In a blanket of warmth and compassion

This striving soul
Seeks metaphoric public domain insight
Viewed in a brand new light
Knowing everything in sight
Solving each design
Smiling and feeling at ease
No need in trying to please
Overdoing self for a simple quick self
Being obsolete
Giving room for unconditional respect
This quietness heard in calming insight
Never too hard to find, unwind
Judge me not
This spirit has yet to be seen
There is more to me than ugliness
Not a monster
Just always stuck inside my own mind

Take me away
Unbridled fate
Help plan my escape
Stuck, Restless and weary
Yet, somehow so full of energy
At the same time tired
As this passion burns within
Only to be contradicted by life
And it's too simplistic redundant deeming plight

So much effort
What will be mine?
Which path ends with open arms?
Because once I know
I will scratch and crawl
Bruise, bleed and swell
In a moment's hell
Just to know
I will be beckoned
Called when needed
By serenated eyes
Giving out many joyful cries
By the rhapsody of sensitive rejoice

An Empath journey
Towards a surging light
Aura of many possibilities
Seeking credibility
Who am I?
Someone who keeps trying
Leaving everything out
And on the line
I risk myself in great strides
Working hard so hard
To never feel left behind
Sensitive winds blowing
Not too strong
But just about right

Design, where is the design?
Are they amongst each star's alignment?
Please, just give me a sign
Not to mention, a tad bit insight
Sick of this life's closed confinement
Need more space, and better times
This life needs much more than ever had before

Where am I?
Take me away
I want a better life

Design, Where are you?
This destiny I plead, I plead for a sign
Clean slate me
Please, I beg, clear this mind

So sick of feeling so far behind

Where are you design?
Someday I will never feel so left behind

Awaken; direct me to my own design!
Before it becomes too late
As time never has any qualm
Leaving any haunting dreams behind

Design, what is next in this life of mine?
I just want to feel anew
