Desire Poem by Dan Uriel

Desire

After all, how to be good
in this hell, when
forced to live with me
this happiness never
would be fair and replaced

something strange value
an ancient and only way
will come tomorrow,
as will anguish
the new romance
by vanished sorrow

Oh, if I would desire
that new romance
with lucky interference
could be an age-long reference
would behold that desire
with reverence
