Desire To Be A Poet Poem by Hebert Logerie

I always wanted to be a Poet
I have not reached that plateau yet
But I am still working at it
I want to succeed bit by bit
Oh Gosh! It is a long, long way ahead
That's what I have in my head
I read about everything. I write a lot
I need to do more. I must do my part
All the time, in order to arrive
I want to make it. I want to thrive
I will never stop thinking and dreaming
I will not stop working and striving.
